Greenwich Park accommodates the Royal Observatory and the Meridian Line is the Prime Meridian of the world as its Longitude is Zero, and was the reference point for Greenwich Mean Time.

This print focuses on the sky’s alignment of Venus and the Moon celebrating the park’s cosmic and scientific notoriety.

The Flying Bus

The Flying Scotsman’s first journey in 1928 influenced my title as nearly hundred years before, in 1829, the first London bus began its service from Paddington to Bank.

Time is the key element of this work and captures the fleeting moment when the iconic red London Bus leaves its stop.

Where there are waves there are Kitesurfers! A person is at one with the elements when soaring in to the sky. The surrounding sky and seascape emphasise the tiny scale of the participants.

Battersea Power Station

The print Battersea Power Station is an abstract image of an historic building that has been transformed in use. The changing infrastructure is shifting our perception of what is new or old. The architect Sir Giles Gilbert Scott designed Battersea Power Station in 1929 along with Britain’s red telephone boxes.
