Transmission, Alexandra Park

Each London Park is identified by some historic or cosmic event.

Alexandra Park is known globally as it transmitted the first high definition (for the time) television broadcast on 2nd November 1936. The Crystal Palace TV transmitter, the 8th tallest structure in London, is present on the horizon broadcasting across London.
