Peaceful Reconnection

A white bird flew across my view whilst looking towards Tower Bridge from a friend’s apartment.

On 28th July 2014, Tower Bridge turned off its lights between 10pm-11pm to commemorate the centenary of the declaration of war. My memory of this scene reminded me of the important war contribution birds gave when they carried information to and from vast distances in order to obtain a peaceful outcome to the war.

Print edition sizes can be obtained from Nicola.
