Capturing London in various contexts with its urban landscapes and constructions is my main subject, London is identifiable by its bridges, famous architecture, parks and the River Thames. Walking around the city there are evolving developments which look randomly placed when seen from high view points but are anchored by the historic buildings around them.
Times of day, seasonal changes and weather conditions impose different dynamics of light and colour on buildings and environments. My prints are an imaginative response to a changing London cityscape. Documentation in the form of sketches and photos from the locations is ongoing and the screen printing process allows layers of colour planes, mark making with digital and drawn techniques.
