Battersea Power Station

The print Battersea Power Station is an abstract image of an historic building that has been transformed in use. The changing infrastructure is shifting our perception of what is new or old. The architect Sir Giles Gilbert Scott designed Battersea Power Station in 1929 along with Britain’s red telephone boxes.

Ghost of Battersea Power Station

The imposing structure will remain a landmark seen from Vauxhall Bridge. It is located on the southbank of the Thames being nearest to Chelsea Bridge. Although it was redeveloped in the 21st century it remains a historical monument to London’s past. An Indelible outline by the Thames.
